PORTRAIT: Dylan

What a wonderful time I had with my good buddy Dylan! What a stud, congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Dylan and his family are good friends with my family and I. So when I found out that I would have the opportunity to take his senior pictures, while visiting my little sister in Nashville, TN... I was thrilled! This was such a fun senior session for me, I was able to explore the southern back roads of Tennessee with the Paxton family and find some great locations including a really fun abandoned barn in a quant little town called Leiper's Fork! Take a look and I hope you enjoy the country side as much as I did! Oh yeah... I was also able to do their family portraits as well, so keep checking in to see Dylan and his wonderful family too ;)

Here are some of my favorites from the shoot :)

CHICAGO/ ENGAGEMENT: GABY & GERMAN

Now I'm not an elaborate author, a wizard with words, or an eloquent typist... but the one of the beautiful aspects of what I do, are the couples that I get to work with! Their stories have so much character and beauty to them that I don't even have to season it with details. She is a beautiful dance instructor and school teacher. He, a marine and now a well established financial business man. "How did these two meet..." you ask? It was love at first... chat? That's right! This is officially my first couple that met online! When I heard their story, it was so romantic and sweet, like "You've Got Mail," but; not. ;) One fine winter day at Navy Pier in Downtown Chicago, she was walking through the cool winter air with her family as the soft snow falling lightly onto her face. They approached closer to the ferris wheel and out he came; dressed in his uniform, golden buttons, white hat, and gloves, slowly approaching the woman who captured this soldiers heart. She smiled as they stole a moment together, he knelt down on one knee and... well you can guess the rest ;)

I am so blessed to have Gaby and German as one of my clients and to shoot their eSession was so much fun, and as much as we were praying for a soft winter snow to fall while we shot, God still gave us wonderful weather, great opportunities, and lasting memories. Thank you Gaby and German for being such a fun couple, I can't wait for the wedding! To the two of you, and the rest... ENJOY and God bless!
