SNEAK PEEK: Mary & Dan Wedding

NAPERVILLE/ ENGAGEMENT: MEG & DAVE
What can I say about Meg & Dave! These two are very dear to my heart. We met & attend Harvest Bible Chapel in Naperville together, Dave & I were in small group together. I was so blessed and excited when they asked me to capture their wedding and tell their love story...
Their engagement shoot was such an amazing, fun time! It started at Dave's work, an auto repair shop in Villa Park, then Herrick Lake Forest Preserve in Wheaton, finally ending at his relatives field in Elwood.
So, we definitely drove around, but it was SO enjoyable because not only were we cruising in a 1966 Chrysler New Yorker the whole time, with an engine that will rev the testosterone back into your system, but I also had the opportunity after the eSession to take a couple shots... real shots, with a 12 gauge shot gun! Don't worry we were safe, Dave's a pro! What an adrenaline rush though!
I must say as a wedding photographer, this was one of the most enjoyable, and personal couples I've had to work with, of course I love all of my couples!
Meg & Dave just hold a very personal place in my heart. At times they made me even forget that we were on their engagement shoot and we just soaked in the moments & in the presence of God enjoying each others company! My life is truly truly blessed to be able to call these two... Family! Be ready for their wedding "Sneak Peek" coming soon!

SNEAK PEEK: Meg & Dave eSession
Here it is! Another sneak peek by yours truly ;) Meg and Dave, truly good friends and I'm pleased to call "Family"... oh my goodness, one of the most fun eSessions I have ever done. It involved a mechanics garage, a beautiful open field, a 1966 Chrysler New Yorker; and a 12 gauge shot gun. Interested?

CHICAGO/ ENGAGEMENT: SAMANTHA & RIGO
I have to thank my buddy Otto Rascon for asking me to assist him with an engagement shoot in the west loop of downtown Chicago! I have to also thank him even more for introducing me to two amazing people, Sam & Rigo. You know every now and then you look at a couple or meet them for the first time and just know, these two were meant for each other.
Sam & Rigo are such a cute couple who are very much in love! The evening was faaaantastic! Plans had originally been made to do some shots at Navy Pier, but with the sun beginning to set we had decided to go to the Milton Lee Olive Park which is such a beautiful location! As beautiful as Navy Pier is there is something just raw and fun about Olive Park. With the skyline in the background, the beach below, trees, people and the park... It has kind of a romantic movie feel to it, like something out of an old school Tom Hanks movie.
Sam & Rigo definitely took advantage of that romantic and fun aspect that Chicago offers. See for yourself and enjoy their engagement! Oh and wait till you see their wedding... soon to come!

BATAVIA/ ENGAGEMENT: MARY & DAN
You know, some people see life as very random. Personally, I see every moment as a blessing from my Heavenly Father! Sometimes I can't help but wonder, "Huh what are the odds of that happening?" That'll set the stage...
BACK STORY:
Most of you know I work part time at a running store... Road Runner Sports, it was there where I was fitting a customer for a new pair of running shoes. Now most stores just kind of pull sizes and you try them on all by your lonesome, not me. I engage with my customers and like to share a pleasant conversation while they're deciding "Hmm... which shoes feels the most comfortable?" Anyways, I had disclosed to this customer that I am a wedding photographer and had started STEVEN RYNE PHOTOGRAPHY!!! (Too over the top?) ;) about three years ago. I gave her a business card and said, "Well if you know anyone getting married please tell them about me." Fast forward a few months and here we have Mary & Dan.
THE COUPLE:
Mary is a teacher, who fell in love with Dan whom is one of Batavia's finest! A firefighter for the Batavia fire department, which by the way is one of the nicest fire houses I've been in and seen.
NOT ALL AT ONCE:
Well I don't want to give it all away now, because their beautiful wedding is in a few weeks... so I guess you'll just have to hear the rest about their love story, but here are some of my favorite images from their amazing eSession with me!
P.S. This was the first time I got to go on and in a fire "engine" (that one's for you Dan!) and it was AWESOME!!! Enjoy everyone! :D
